How to Partner with DFA

Collaboration is at the heart of our impact. Doctors for America partners with organizations across the health, policy, academic, and community sectors to advance equitable, high-quality health care for all.

Whether you’re a national advocacy organization, a local coalition, a provider network, or a research institution, we welcome opportunities to work together.

Partnerships may include:

  • Joint advocacy campaigns and policy initiatives
  • Co-hosted events, trainings, and community forums
  • Research collaboration or resource development
  • Amplifying clinician voices in media and public dialogue
  • Coalition-building and cross-sector coordination

If your organization shares our mission of putting patients over politics and advancing health equity, we’d love to explore alignment.

Donation Transparency and Financials

Doctors for America is committed to transparency, stewardship, and responsible use of donor contributions. Every dollar helps mobilize physicians and medical trainees, power advocacy campaigns, and expand access to the tools clinicians need to lead meaningful change.

Our funding principles include:

  • No corporate influence: JDFA does not accept funding from pharmaceutical or medical-device companies, ensuring our advocacy remains independent and patient-centered.
  • Clear allocation: Donations support advocacy training, fellowship programs, digital communications, chapter organizing, policy research, and national events such as the National Leadership Conference.
  • Annual reporting: Each year, DFA publishes a detailed Impact Report outlining financials, program achievements, grant support, and measurable outcomes.
  • Accountability: DFA is fiscally sponsored by Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and adheres to strict nonprofit governance and compliance standards.

Recent highlights from DFA’s published reports include:

  • $789,438 in grant funding supporting national advocacy (2024)
  • $79,000 in individual donations fueling grassroots mobilization (2024)
  • Steady year-over-year growth in membership revenue, donor participation, and partnership engagement
