Doctors for America, American Muslim Health Professionals, California Physicians Alliance, Seattle Indian Health Board, and American Medical Women's Association are co-sponsoring this petition. We represent national and local health care and health policy organizations and front line workers with firsthand experience of the difficulties and inequities of the pandemic, and are interested in a collaborative approach to address these issues urgently within a federally coordinated vaccination program. A particular concern thematically addressed throughout our recommendations below is the known disproportionate effect this pandemic has had on underserved minority populations.
